Enjoy flexibility
We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing you to build a role that works for your lifestyle.

Community-based autonomy
Work independently in the community while having the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team when you need it.

Develop your career
Access ongoing professional development and opportunities to broaden your experience across community aged care.

Be part of a growing team
Join an organisation that is expanding its community services and values people who want to contribute, develop and grow with us.

About the Role

As a Community Aged Care Physiotherapist, you will provide person-centred, evidence-based physiotherapy to older clients in their homes and community settings.

Your focus will be on helping clients remain safe, mobile and independent, while supporting their individual health and wellbeing goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing comprehensive physiotherapy and functional assessments.
  • Developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
  • Supporting mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
  • Falls risk assessment, prevention and management.
  • Prescribing appropriate exercise and home-based rehabilitation programs.
  • Assessing mobility and recommending appropriate aids or equipment.
  • Supporting clients living with chronic health conditions and age-related changes.
  • Educating clients, families and Care Partners about safe mobility and exercise.
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions as required.
  • Working collaboratively with Nurses, Care Partners, GPs, allied health professionals and families.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and care plans.
  • Identifying changes in client health or function and escalating concerns appropriately.

About You

You are a Physiotherapist who is compassionate, practical and genuinely enjoys working with older people.

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently within clients' homes.
  • A commitment to person-centred and evidence-based care.
  • An interest in aged care, rehabilitation, healthy ageing and maintaining independence.

Experience in aged care or community physiotherapy is highly regarded, however, new graduates with a genuine passion for working with older people are encouraged to apply.

What We Offer

  • Full-time or part-time opportunities.
  • Flexible community-based working arrangements.
  • Supportive clinical and management team.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Diverse and rewarding aged care caseload.
  • Autonomy and variety in your working day.
  • Collaboration with Nurses, Care Partners and other health professionals.
  • The opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients.
  • The opportunity to grow with an expanding community care team.

Make Every Visit Count

At Right at Home Gold Coast, we believe aged care is about more than completing a task or providing a clinical service.

It is about helping people remain independent, maintain their dignity and continue living life on their terms.

Our purpose is to improve the quality of life for those we serve through the Right People, Right Services and Right Approach.
